One man band from Canada.
Ambient guitar with bass and drums. He's got a great album out "Numinous".
Best to get that directly from his website or through bandcamp.

It's great, really love Algorithm and Dig Down and I think the rest will grow on me like they usually do. I love everything Muse do because they have the talent and balls to experiment with their sound and mix genres, much like Queen always did. Also they're coming to Toronto in March and I can't fucking wait to finally see them live.

Have you seen all the 80's style videos they made for this album? The videos for Pressure and Algorithm are my favorites. Both star Terry Crews.

Yeah I watched Algorithm, it was wonderfully cheesy and TRON-like. Dig Down was a bit meh, but the Oldboy/Watchmen-styled fight scene was well done.

Back in Swervedriver mood again


as tomorrow they'll release a new album.
One of the new tracks already sounds quite alright:


Other than that and a lot more I've been following young female-driven bands and/or female singer/songwriters. Wolf Alice, Courtney Barnett and
Sharon Van Etten:


She has a lovely voice. Wait for the second song (04:00 min) in particular.
That song also got a prominent spot in the new Twin Peaks season/show.

Re: What are you listening to, I mentioned Gary Numan and went looking for his latest works... Seems his latest studio album is called Savage (Songs from a Broken World) and was released on 15 September 2017, entering the UK Albums Chart at no. 2—Numan's highest chart peak since 1980.

Can't imagine it'll go without complaints about the portrayal of Jewish camp prisoners being hung.

It didn't, at first.
But after some days have gone by and the full video is available there is no talk about it at all really.
It's almost suspiciously silent.

I think the lyrics on their own are not bad but only in combination with the video they can really convey the meaning.
Looking at it as a whole it shows the divide german people live with when looking at their fatherland (we call it motherland).


I'll spend some days in Berlin early May with two concerts.
dEUS will be reprising their '99 Album "The Ideal Crash"


and the next day I'm gonna see these loosers
