Before you ask, she apparently had the leash tied around her hand in one of those convoluted ways.

I don't blame the pit for this, the woman was physically weaker and unable to alter the dog's insistent direction. Probably shouldn't have been walking solid muscle.

I've seen similar. Dogs on leashes tied to baby prams/stroller/pushchairs (whatever you call them).

It doesn't take much to get a tethered dog to do a runner does it
