Gramps is the greatest troll of all time and he doesn’t even know it. He tries so hard to not sound like a common Floridian bleb, but I cringe every time he posts. He’s such a blowhard...

So far she's got a new Klock Werks 14" wind screen, Avon grips, Custom Dynamics rear flasher kit, Custom Dynamic front and rear LED blinkers, Harley tear drop rear view mirrors, Mustang One-Piece Low Down Touring Seat with Backrest and Highway pegs. The handlebars haven't arrived yet. They've been back ordered. Hopefully I'll get them in a week or so.

What's new in your little world Geoff? Are you still in school? Did you get a job? Did the wife let you buy/do anything cool lately? You use to share a lot more. What happened, scared?

I deleted facebook.

Didn't post on it much but I checked it periodically during the day more than I realised, it's kinda weird breaking a habit that's been cultivated over the last 11/12 years.

I recommend it.

Do it. I deleted that shit more than a decade ago as well, never missed it. You won't miss anything.

Been considering it for ages. I full on deleted it rather than deactivation, though I imagine they'll still keep the data.

There's groups and model kit marketplaces that I'll miss, but the final nail in the coffin was Adam Buxton's most recent podcast with Shoshana Zuboff. I enjoyed it as a platform when it started, but it's evolved way beyond what I signed up for.

It’s total garbage but there are still a few things keeping me on it. I find the groups and events very useful.

Just sold some RAM I had laying around, DDR2 PC 6400 2GB Geil 800MHz x 4 sticks, nearly collector stuff I thought. Young fellow doing up a PC for his Dad :) How thoughtful...

They were around a while, maybe years. I had a 'spring clean' and discovered them, thinking they'd be a collector item, grabbed a pic and put them up online. They have been there since wait... wait.. Yes, found the advertisement receipt. Since Sat 6 April 2019

Yeah, not huge boxes... But I do have hundreds of sticks of ram kicking around. Some good, some bad, all outdated. did you know ram sometimes goes bad due to gamma radiation from outer space?

I didn't know about gamma radiation spoiling RAM an it is sounding like aluminum/tin foil hat stuff

But, Re: What is new in your little world? Me, I am off to the big smoke tomorrow, staying overnight and attending a reunion of workmates. It has been a while and since I last saw some of them ... They were looking old  then,

Me, well I still feel like a 40 year old. Funny, I told my Doctor just this morning the same thing. He :olo: and I asked why so funny and his reply was somewhat vague, mentioning he had just turned 69yo and can't get income protection insurance any longer. Oh the woes of Doctors :)

Test drove a 2019 Merc A Class 220d AMG line auto today. Looking at getting a smaller car because we just don’t need a large one. It’s like an iPad on wheels and went like stink. You can’t beat the build quality of a merc in the price range, nothing comes close.

Me, I just returned from the city and that reunion I mentioned where I met workmates and some 5 or so I hadn't seen in 30 years.
