That not considered. What does riding do for anyone?

Pretty sure he means as opposed to having curves. Whatever floats your boat I agree but for me that would be a very boring ride.

Since Florida is widely known as predominantly flat, it would be safe to assume there aren't many elevation changes in my rides. But I guess because there are no curves in the videos I've posted, there are no curves and because there are no curves the quality of my rides are somehow less? Okay... Going with this assumption I have to ask. Considering most roads are designed to get you as directly as possible from point A to point B. How many curves do you need in one session to have a "quality" ride?

Here I thought the blue skies, palm trees, sandy beaches, beautiful weather and the fact I'm riding in a place where the whole world wants to vacation would add up to some pretty cool rides.

For me personally, having some nice bends in roads which tickle the lean angle receptors in my brain is always a plus on a ride. But I guess thats why I ride a sportsbike and you ride a cruiser.

I like curves and there are what I would imagine is a normal amount of curves in our roads. But I wouldn't say curves make or break a ride. They're just short fun breaks from the norm.

Yeah, curves are cool and everything, but not necessary. There are plenty around here if I choose to go that route, which I did today. Also, some days I feel like getting a little speed and others I just want to lean back and cruise.

I installed two new switches and crash bar running lights. One switch is for the new lights and the other is for the accent LEDs.

I'm continue on the weight loss goal and still enjoying :smirk: no truly. Down another 700g this week and pretty easily. Oh, just worked the figures and I am past the half way mark. Yea...

I drove my bike to new York city. I'm still there and staying on long island but I'm going to head over to Manhattan shortly. Wish me luck, the drivers here are nuts. I on average go about 100km/h in city streets. Sounds reckless but I'm just keeping up with the rest of traffic. Still takes forever to go anywhere.

Still on the weight reduction thing... Week 12 and an 11.2kg loss, nearly 25lbs. Loving the journey :D Gorgeous weather here so the walking is most enjoyable.

And besides that, I await a custom Technic Lego coming from the USA. Picture when done.

Me and my bro rode 360km (224mi) last Tuesday. It was blisteringly hot. Still wore all my gear though, ATGATT yeah. While riding it was okay, but waiting for a traffic light was pretty hot.

I also wore all my gear on my trip to NYC. It was excruciating as I got caught in several traffic jams that lasted 45 minutes to an hour of not moving and just cooking in the sun. The trip total was just over 1000km's in one direction.

I road 225 miles the weekend before last and will ride another 220+ this Sunday.

Finished planning my father/son trip to Philly/NYC/AC/Baltimore next week.



The wife and I will be headed Punta Cana in December and staying at the Hard Rock Resort for a week. :cool:

The event times have reasonable point to point travel considered. We don't usually get to everything either. The greater purpose is to know what is available to do and when we can do it.

Tip: record on ultra wide so you can get at least half your head on camera.

What type of tips are you looking for? A gimbal is a good idea on a bike, it helps capture the bikes movement plus keeps the footage smooth, loads of YT vids about them. Pick and stick with editing software, changing all the time means you'll never get used to one system. 4K is a waste of time, 1080 60 is fine or there's a 960 which allows you to capture more at the top and bottom of the frame, better for MTB MX type riding. Set the auto off to a min or you'll chew through the battery in no time. Don't bother with mounting it on the bars unless you want to see vibration and feel sick.

What editing software do you use doombrain? I need something that allows me to set a specific bitrate. My videos look fine when I play them direct from the sd card but as soon as I upload it to YouTube they get grainy with any kind of movement.

For example.... Skip to 3:18 to see what I'm referring to.
