Picked up a laptop for school... Was gonna just go with a Chromebook, but decided to get this cool looking notebook they had at the store... It's a ACER GX21-71-76ZF I7-7820HK...

Seems pretty nice so far...

Anyone else notice Geoff's head is greatly disproportionate to his body?

He's looking very aged now. Normally men get a better deal with age, just not in Geoff's case.

I have returned from Tasmania* and looking for news of the world, not NoTW and thanks lars63 for the posts.
What's been happening in the last 10 or so days? Hurricanes about Florida :( that may well cancel a friends holiday but thankfully Korea is still there.

*Photos soon

I put the wheels and handles on it then pushed it into the corner and covered it. I don't plan to do anything else with it until I need it. Because as soon as you fill it up with gas and oil you have to start the routine maintenance. But this bad boy should be able to run the central air, (3) of the refrigerators/freezer, computers, TVs and lights all at the same time.

Went on a Caribbean cruise last month. Isla Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel. Already planning another for next year. Maybe Jamaica, Bahamas, or some other places in the Eastern Caribbean.

I’ve been to both Bahamas and Jamaica. They’re great

Just a bit depressing due to the poverty...

Same with the places I went. The entire island of Roatan depends on tourism. From the looks of it, that's not a whole lot. But they seemed content. Damn good food though in all the places I visited. And the people appeared to be genuinely nice. It could have been a front for the uppity foreigners invading their country, but it didn't come across that way. Also met a really nice couple from New Zealand while we were waiting to board. Saw them a couple of times on board and chatted. Did you go on a cruise or just go there and stay a while?
