This is similar to what I want to do. Bars, front tire, seat and exhaust will be a little different. But it's close.

What a monstrosity

Seriously man, I'll admit I'm not a fan of cruisers, but your old bike actually looked decently cool.
This thing here is just awful

Well, I guess you guys aren't into baggers. Oh well. Like it matters.

I've got a new touring seat with back rest and LED front and rear lamp replacements on the way. Should be here before Friday.

Cheers.

It's a 2020 premium priced bike and it doesn't have LED lights as stock parts? Jeez, what a ripoff.

That looks alright. It's not my style but if it makes you happy that's all that matters. Frankly with the ammount of highway mileage you seem to put in I can see why you'd want a bike like that. It seems well suited for that style of riding.

They've never come with LEDs. LEDs have several options. So even if they did come on the bike, they still may end up getting change. This bike has a 114cu engine, touch screen radio, navigation and cruise control. It comes with many options. Though I do get what you're saying.

Exactly. And I plan to do many more rides.

I got my new seat, highway pegs and LED signal lights installed. I'm hoping the weather clears up tomorrow. We've planned a group ride up to Daytona for the last day of Biketober Fest. I might be able to get taller bars installed there too.

What have I missed here :!: :?:

I've just returned from a drive south to the Sydney environs :) as mentioned here earlier. Come on, keep up..
Lucky enough too being able to attend The The Royal Edinburgh Military and it was a spectacle as expected after viewing on the TV for many years.. Also visited the Taronga Park Zoo. It has probably been 50 years since I was there :( Pics later, sleep now after a long drive... . ...

Road up to Daytona today with a small group for the last day of Biketober Fest. Stopped at Destination Dayton to check out all the vendors and get a first hand look at things. Ended up getting a new 14" Klock Werks wind shield and Custom Dynamics tail light flashing kit... We took the highway up and the beach road back. Put over 300 miles on the new bike today. Good times.

What's the fascination with those tall monkey bars? Don't they get massively uncomfortable?

Bars around shoulder height, promote better posture, prevent back/shoulder pain and relieve pressure on your wrist/hands to improve blood flow.

Is that what the Harley dealer told you? :olo:

Fact is, blockheads like you install ape-hangers because your brain never developed past the age of 10 and you think it looks "omg BADASS!!!", like a racing stripe on your PSU or a skull-face bandana. Exaggerated high bars actually cause shoulder/back pain, degrade blood flow, and greatly diminish the handling of the bike. Not to mention, the riding position turns your body into a parachute at high speeds, which is why you only see them on slow, loud Harleys.

Before you get all defensive and feel attacked, no one cares what your personal preference is (even though you have no taste), but pretending it's for anything other than looks is just laughable. :alert:

Elevating your arms improves circulation...lol wtf...

It helps if you’re trying to get blood to your core, not your hands. Blockhead indeed... :olo:

I ordered a set of KST Kustom Black 14" Pathfinder handlebars and some Avon air cushion grips. Next up will be the intake, exhaust and tuner.
