Massive cunt.

I actually don’t think this is his doing entirely. I think a lot of wall street groups are liquidating their crypto holdings to cover shorts they’re losing massively on.

Yeah that's pretty hilarious... Bitcoin could tank to 0$ and I'll still be up literally hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Ha, I totally got into crypto the last few months!

It's my favourite lockdown hobby, i put about 4000 in and currently i have roughly the same amount :olo: But seeing as BTC just had the biggest correction ever it's not bad.

Anyway, hodling is fun and all but scalping is really cool once you know what you're doing a bit. Seeing as i've made (tiny to small) profits from scalps all week i am now feeling pretty confident. And the daily drawing of support and resistances is quite zen, it really helps me put the charts in perspective.

Did you buy the dip Kracus? I fucking did, jesus it was the only way i could cope after seeing my portfolio more than halved, lol. Seems to have been the right move, everything i got on sale is (small batches, 1-2% of portfolio per coin) up by 50% I could and should have been more prepared for the crash, but i didn't do too shabby

Yeah definitely buy the dip. If you want to talk trading strategies I'm all ears. My experience with it so far is that trading is fucking hard. I've made some great moves at times but wind up slowly dwindling down and can't catch a break. Recently I've been trading against moving averages making trades when the 5, 8 and 20 day averages reverse. If it's a bear market I short only but if it's a bull market I buy only so I don't do anything on a reversal if it's against the trend. I'd like something better though but I find fee's kill me when doing very short scalps even though I'm only paying 0.05% or less in fee's.

Ah cool, yeah, i was like that at first, slowly losing money or at most staying at the same place - and think it's a basic thing about crypto, you have to lose before you can apply rules and structure so you can make actual profit. Anyway, I've since found this crypto community so i'm kind of cheating the game now. Gotta pay to get access but it's led by a pro guy who calls out hodl and scalp targets and provides daily intraday updates with support and resistances for the major coins. They're fucking magic. You still have to put in the work of course, but it gives you an edge over the average trader. All losses i made since i joined were 100% me not following his rules (there are many) to the letter, been shaping up for the last month and it's really helped me during the crash.

Started with only following his scalp calls (i estimate his succes ratio at about 90%), but lately i've been trying to use his technicals as basis for my own trades. So at noon when i have a break from my actual job i'll eat my sandwich and draw my lines, then i try to trade off em if opportunity presents itself in the next 24 hours.

Hodl wise i'm starting to copy his portfolio but i have a lot of ada and some dots left from when i started. I try to scale out of positions, not ride them to the moon - money goes to reinvest in new hodls or my 'dip fund', a bit of tether i try not to touch so i can catch small dips. I'll buy at say 100, sell 20% at 150, 30% at 200, 40% at 300, 10% at 400, something like that.

I can talk about crypto for hours man :olo:

Shoot me a DM with that groups info if you're feeling generous... I'm highly sketched out by those groups though. I feel like they're schemes mostly. How are they achieving 90%? I'm especially weary of pump and dump stuff but not gonna lie, next time dogecoin drops below 10c I'm buying a few hundred.

I took most of my cash out in 2017 so I'm sitting at a net profit no matter what happens at this point. I'll never put in what I got out (at least that's what I tell myself). I've already spilled the beans in this thread but I made a quarter million, just sounds cooler to say that. I dropped 10k on ETH and have several hundred on XLM and I've been doing day trading experiments since with bitcoin with a few thousand that I've subsequently lost playing with 100x leverage lol...

Jesus, nice!! I'm just playing around with what money i can spare, pocket change lol. I've done the overleveraging thing too haha, it's great to see it shoot up by so much and then you see it go into the red and you're liquidated in a second :olo: Risk management is a good thing.

I've got, in order of size:

ADA
XRP
LTC
ZEC
BNB
LINK
DOT
ETH
XMR
UNI
XVS
OCEAN
VET
CAKE

Yeah I'm nowhere near as spread out anymore because I was mostly focusing on trading bitcoin. I'd like to make consistent profit off one coin, the king coin, and when that happens and I feel confident that I can keep it happening then I'll probably yolo 30 or 40k into it but not before I can consistently make small profits on 1k and under.

And yeah, hitting a good 100x trade literally activates some chemical in my brain. I literally get a high from it it's fucking bizarre. I sort of get why people chase big money dreams, I've always enjoyed gambling but I do it on such small amounts that I really don't care if I lose it and winning doesn't really result in huge gains either but getting 10% on a 100k move and making 10k in a matter of a few hours is different, however in my mind losing it isn't the same because I'm not losing 10k I'm actually losing 100$ It's weird when you're playing with leverage. I mostly trade at 10x though and at that level I tend to do well.

It's not bizarre, it's an almost universal human reaction and literally why gambling and casinos exist.

Shame you can't find those bullshit BTC on that bullshit HDD you lost in that bullshit story from circa 2011 then you could add that to the bullshit $250k you made.

Claims to have made $250K, still lives in an old, dilapidated shack in one of the poorest provinces of Canada with the lowest house prices :olo:

That never happened bro. Seriously... Whoever it is you think lost those coins isn't me, you're confusing me with someone else.

Also, if anyone here has lost bitcoin on an old HDD please let me know and I'll help you recover them for a fee. No bullshit, I can get access to any drive that's running windows 7 or earlier assuming you didn't use encryption. I literally do stuff like this for a living.

So to stave off the impending market crash hedge funds and wallstreet banks are selling off massive amounts of crypto to cover the shorts they're massively fucked on. Great time to be buying up this dip.
