You'll be back soon enough, tnf. They are a novelty for about a month, then they'll just start to piss you off.

I've tried twice, with a Galaxy S3 and a Sony Xperia Z2, and both times I ended up selling them and buying another iPhone.

Galaxy S5. Tossed a coin between that and the LG G3. I had the iPhone 5 - and from what I've seen, had the iPhone 6 actually been the 5 - because all the features on the 6 seemed to be around when the 5 was released - I probably would have stayed.

Biggest complaint was the battery - my iPhone 5 battery was absolute shit after about 7 months and I wasn't in the serial # group that could return them for a bad battery. So it would go from 30% to 1% to off in about 10 minutes. Cleaned the contacts all the time in the charge port to be sure there was nothing in there screwing things up, etc.

Actually, yeah, my 5 battery was really terrible. I've got a 6, and the battery is excellent. Spookily so. Actually, thinking about it, I actually had to pay to have the battery replaced in my 5 because it died after about 8 months.

This was very true. I can't stand this fucking piece of shit Galaxy S5. Fucker has crashed and crapped out more than every iPhone I've had, combined.

Came back here to comment just because I have remembered sys saying this every time this piece of shit Samsung was acting up.

Weird... I've had my S3 for two years now and love it. Battery lasts about a day of heavy use. (Using it now)

Only issue I had with it was battery life for a little while but I traced the problem to the Facebook app draining the battery even if you don't use it! I uninstalled the app and boom I had decent battery life again.

If you want good battery life get a q10. I use a z10 for work and charge it about 3 times a week. I switched to a q10 for a week and worked with 1charge the entire week and I'd say I'm a heavy user.

Edit: forgot to say, other than battery life blackberry's are a shit phone.

I use both iOS and Android on a regular basis and I don't know what it is, but I must be some sort of superior Ubermensch or something, because I am perfectly well capable of working with both platforms without any frustration whatsoever. It must be a goddamn superpower.

I was going to post the same. I use both almost daily and I neither of the two ever "crashed" for me. Well except when my own code is fucking up but that's not the OS' fault.

Android does seem to like codingconventions and specs more than iOS though.. iOS is almost the new IE6 :owned:

Why would I use an iPhone with icloud when I could just use the Google cloud with unlimited space for free?...

I've had my HTC Desire for like 3.5 fucking years. Shit still runs fine. I never could figure out how to root the fuckin' thing but whatever. Battery is starting to get a bit shitty over the last couple of months but this phone has lasted longer than any phone I've ever owned.

Didn't mean to upset fans of the Galaxy.

The fact I can spend a couple bucks on a 128 gb memory card and drop it in the phone is the main reason I kept it for so long.

But for whatever reason, I get errors all the time - stuff like "Unfortunately [ANY APP NAME HERE] has stopped working." Or the screen freezes and I can't do things like answer calls or dial numbers.

My ATT deal is absolute shit right now, so I'm going to switch over to Verizon and probably go iPhone 6s
