I haven't read much of the topic to be sure but I dropped in to say that I just read President Trump is about to authorize an attach on Iraq!

Senior figures in the Turnbull Government have told the ABC they believe the United States is prepared to bomb Iran's nuclear capability, perhaps as early as next month, and that Australia is poised to help identify possible targets.

It's kinda irritating to see how ignorant people can be. Not only are they completely oblivious to the corruption going on they wholeheartedly support it and buy into the lies they're being fed whilst simultaneously ignoring the truth being reported by the news. Sad days for the US, I wonder how long it'll take to undo this damage.

What an utter scumbag. Doesn't get that much worse than him. It's actually hard to find words that adequately describe how horrible a person he is.

You're couldn't be more wrong StuFFNBuTTs. People like you get on your moral high horse and scream like a child about how bad something is, but you've got NO alternative. Your view of the situation is so narrow and bias that it obscures your ability to reason. I'm certain you still don't have a viable suggestion, let alone a solution for America's immigration problem. Only complaints. And that's my entire point. Never once did I say I was for separating children from there parents. However, I can understand there are problems on both sides of this issue. Those problems have never been dealt with and need a clear resolution. But instead of being objective, you close your mind and rail on. That's the problem with wingers like you in our government. You only want to complain about the other side and do nothing to promote change. Immigration reform isn't a black and white issue. It's something that is a big problem for America, both ethically and financially. We can't let everyone in and we can't send everyone home. "We are a nation of immigrants, but we are also a nation of laws". So the next time you want to throw a tantrum, come with a recommendation or just STFU. We've heard it already.

You're all going to die of lung cancer
Quote:
One of the most dangerous construction-related carcinogens is now legally allowed back into U.S. manufacturing under a new rule by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). On June 1, the EPA authorized a “SNUR” (Significant New Use Rule) which allows new products containing asbestos to be created on a case-by-case basis.
[...]
In May, the EPA released a report detailing its new framework for evaluating the risk of its top prioritized substances. The report states that the agency will no longer consider the effect or presence of substances in the air, ground, or water in its risk assessments.

https://archpaper.com/2018/08/epa-asbes ... facturing/

Interestingly enough, Russia is responsible for 55% of the world's asbestos production. The largest asbestos manufacturer in Russia brands their products with Trump's face :dork:

I don't think Trump will make it to the 2020 election, but if he does, this Youtube comment suggests a fitting type of opponent...

It probably needs to be someone who recognizes that Trump is a bully, i.e., he will fold like a cheap card table if you get in his face, someone who does not back down and is willing to duke it out with him. In the televised debates, when he plays the snarking up behind you routine he pulled with Hillary, instead of ignoring him, stop your spoken reply, say into the mike, "Excuse me a moment." Walk up to Trump, TAKE HIM BY THE EAR like a naughty schoolboy, twist it - hard, and frog-march him back to his proper position. Tell him, "Stay!" while looking him dead-faced directly in the eyes. Then walk to your spot, never looking back (if you hear him approaching, turn and kick him in the nuts. "I will NOT be assaulted." Back to the mike and continue...

He's going to get a pardon from Drumpf. Fortunately, there are state-level charges against him as well, and he can't be pardoned for non-federal crimes.

Cohen just pleaded guilty to 8 federal charges, but again, he can be pardoned. What's more likely, though, is that he has dirt on Drumpf and will use it to get a better deal on his sentence.

Courtesy of PoppinKream from reddit. (I guess the links didn't copy over)

President Trump has surrounded himself with convicted felons and his enterprises are under investigation.

National Security Advisor Michael Flynn - pleaded guilty.[1]

President Trump's Personal Attorney Michael Cohen - pleaded guilty.[2]

Foreign Policy Advisor George Papadopoulos - pleaded guilty.[3]

Deputy Campaign Chairman Richard Gates - pleaded guilty.[4]

Campaign Chairman Paul Manafort - convicted on 8 Federal counts.[5]

The Trump Foundation is under investigation.[6]

The Trump Organization is under investigation and may face criminal charges.[7]

The Trump Organization's CFO Allen Weisselberg was granted immunity.[8]

A good friend of President Trump, David Pecker, has been granted immunity by Federal Prosecutors. Why is that important?[9]

Court papers in the Cohen case say Pecker “offered to help deal with negative stories about (Trump’s) relationships with women by, among other things, assisting the campaign in identifying such stories so they could be purchased and their publication avoided.”

The Journal reported Pecker shared with prosecutors details about payments that Cohen says Trump directed in the weeks and months before the election to buy the silence of McDougal and another woman alleging an affair, porn star Stormy Daniels. Daniels was paid $130,000, and McDougal was paid $150,000.

President Trump has been freaking out about criminals flipping.[10] President Trump said he knew all about "flippers" and that criminals flipping on other criminals should be illegal - a direct attack on prosecutors and the rule of law in America.[11]

President Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator. Michael Cohen incriminated the President while under oath when he pleaded guilty to all charges. President Trump directed Cohen to make illegal payments and Pecker can corroborate this.

President Trump's personal attorney and RNC Deputy Finance Chairman Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to charges laid out by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, while under oath he admitted to making illegal payments under the direction of then candidate Trump.[12] Lanny Davis, Cohen's attorney, went across the networks claiming his client had knowledge of topics pertaining to Special Counsel Mueller's investiation and that his client was willing to cooperate.[13]

According to court filings prosecutors say that President Trump's real estate company paid Michael Cohen $420,000 in an effort to illegally silence women during the 2016 Presidential Campaign, relying on sham invoices that concealed the nature of these payments.[14] In a completely separate investigation a New York state judge subpoenaed Cohen in the Trump Foundation investigation.[15]

While President Trump has attacked and distanced himself from his personal attorney, he has treated the Manafort situation completely differently. He has gone as far as considering pardoning his former Campaign Chairman, convicted felon Paul Manafort, because he hasn't "flipped." Let's see if the President's tune changes after this tentative plea deal.

Fox News reported that President Trump was considering pardoning Manafort.[16] President Trump followed up by tweeting his support of Manafort, claiming he was "brave" not to break under pressure unlike his personal attorney Michael Cohen.[17] It should also be noted that Manafort was convicted on 8 counts, is now a felon, and if it weren't for 1 juror irrationally holding out Manafort would have been convicted on all 18 counts.[18] And then we learned that President Trump had discussed pardoning Manafort weeks ago.[19]

1) Macleans - Michael Flynn pleads guilty to making false statements to FBI

2) Fox News - Michael Cohen admits committing campaign finance violation 'at direction of' Trump

3) CBC - Mueller recommends 6 months in prison for Papadopoulos

7) New York Times - Trump Organization Could Face Criminal Charges From Manhattan D.A.

8) Fox News - Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg granted immunity in Michael Cohen case

9) Associated Press - AP: National Enquirer hid damaging Trump stories in a safe

10) The Guardian - Trump says 'flipping' in criminal cases should be illegal and warns against impeachment

11) Vanity Fair - “I know all about flipping": Trump goes full Gotti As two more of his associates face jail time, the president is sounding more like a mob boss.

12) Fox News - Michael Cohen admits committing campaign finance violation 'at direction of' Trump

13) MSNBC - Michael Cohen More Than Happy To Tell Mueller All That He Knows: Attorney | Rachel Maddow

14) Washington Post - Trump’s company approved $420,000 in payments to Cohen, relying on ‘sham’ invoices, prosecutors say

15) Associated Press - New York state subpoenas Cohen in Trump Foundation probe

16) Reuters - Trump says he's considering pardon for Manafort: Fox News reporter

17) BBC - Trump heaps praise on 'brave' Manafort after conviction

18) Reuters - Manafort juror says 'one holdout' kept jury from convicting on all counts

19) Washington Post - Trump sought his lawyers’ advice weeks ago on possibility of pardoning Manafort, Giuliani says

Manafort has been convicted for 8 counts and is facing several years in prison. Moreover, the initial convictions are from Manafort's first trial, his second trial was set to begin later this month;

Trump Campaign Chairman Paul Manafort has been found guilty on all 5 counts of tax fraud. Manafort was convicted on 1 count of failing to declare a foreign bank account and 2 counts of bank fraud.[1]

For those that don't know Manafort is facing two trials, the current one in Alexandria is about tax and bank fraud. Manafort's second trial is in Washington and begins in September,[2] it will address the fact that Manafort failed to register as a foreign agent among other crimes he has been indicted for.[3]

Other persons of interest who have been indicted, pleaded guilty, and/or convicted over the course of several investigations stemming from Russian election interference;

Richard Pinedo, who was not involved with the Trump campaign, pleaded guilty in a case related to the Mueller probe in February to aiding and abetting interstate and foreign identity fraud by creating, buying and stealing hundreds of bank account numbers that he sold to individuals to use with large digital payment companies.[4]

Konstantin Kilimnik, former Russian spy and Manafort's right hand man in Ukraine,[5] has been indicted by Special Counsel Mueller.[6]

Alex van der Zwaan, a dutch lawyer, pleaded guilty to lying to investigators and served 30 days in prison. He was deported following his conviction and time served.[7]

13 Russian nationals and 3 Russian entities were indicted earlier this year for their role in interfering with the 2016 U.S. election.[8] The Russian election meddling operation was a sophisticated attack against the West. This operation was funded through Russian fronts, including a catering company run by a close friend of Putin, Yevgeny Prigozhin. They used stolen American identities. Operatives bought political ads on social media sites. Operatives visited the United States, traveled across 9 states and discussed escape routes if they were caught inside the country. Operatives bought equipment including burner phones and SIM cards. The operation included hundreds of employees and millions of dollars, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein put it best - the Russians conducted information warfare during the election.[9] According to the indictment Prigozhin met Mikhail Bystrov, a leader of the Internet Research Agency (IRA), regularly in 2015 and 2016. Prigozhin funded the Internet Research Agency and their meddling of the American election. This was a sophisticated operation that spanned over several years. Prigozhin has been Putin's go to guy for under the table missions, including recruiting mercenaries for the conflicts in Ukraine and Syria.

Maria Butina was arrested and charged for conspiracy to act as an agent of the Russian Federation. The affidavit about Maria Butina included an interested nugget of information confirming that she had established a private line of communication between what is likely GOP leaders and the Kremlin, by using the NRA as a secure conduit for communication;[10]

12 Russian Military Intelligence Officers (GRU) were indicted in July by Special Counsel Mueller for their role with interfering with the 2016 U.S. election. The GRU (Russian military intelligence) hacked the DNC and shared the hacked material through their Guccifer 2.0 moniker via Wikileaks. Please read the entire document as it goes into excruciating detail on how the Russian military intelligence agency attacked the United States of America.[11]

Russian election interference is not a hoax. The investigations into Russian interference, the Trump campaign, and the individuals President Trump has surrounded himself with is not a witch hunt.

1) New York Times - Paul Manafort Convicted in Fraud Trial

2) CNBC - Special counsel Robert Mueller proposes 'well over' 1,000 pieces of evidence for next trial of ex-Trump campaign boss Paul Manafort: Attorneys

3) Politico - Judge sets Sept. 17 trial date for Manafort on Mueller charges

4) CNN - Californian man pleads guilty to identity fraud connected to Russian interference in presidential election

5) Washington Post - Mueller just drew his most direct line to date between the Trump campaign and Russia

8) U.S. Department of Justice - Indictment of 13 Russians and 3 Russian entities

9) BBC - Russians conducted 'information warfare' on US election
