The idea of the topic is to tell us of an upcoming movie you would be interested in seeing.....

Here's mine to start as the interesting concept caught my eye.

The Space Between Us

i *was* up for Jason Bourne until everyone said it was shit. might just wait for blu-ray now

apparently there's a movie of Neal Stephenson's Seveneves in the works, but that's a couple of years away i'm guessing. oh, and the never-ending saga of Dune :|

It's a lucrative business but when you're 13th in command of 14 electricians you gotta have the best that Walmart can offer.

Really? Sweet jesus, what kind of moron decided that a movie format would do any sort of justice to the book?

Should have sold it as a series to HBO or netflix or amazon... what a missed opportunity.

Off to see that new Tom Hanks movie Inferno Wednesday with a bit of luck.

If it is too busy options are
1. Deepwater Horizon
2. The Girl on the Train

....
....

I spotted a news promotion piece on a new Sci-Fi/Drama TV series. It sounds promising as a BBC* production and a spin off from Dr Who.

Quote:
Coal Hill School has been a feature of Doctor Who since the first episode, but now we get to see the day-to-day adventures of the students coping with intrusions from space and time.

* co-produced by BBC Wales and BBC America

Jesus had two scenes and maybe two lines in The Big Lebowski. Even though he was an awesome character, it'll be interesting to see how they develop a full story. And without the Coen brothers attached to the project, I don't see it having much luck. But I do like Turturro...

My Wife says she's looking forward to it so I guess I am too.
Trouble is we don't have Netflix so I really hope it appears elsewhere *cough* *cough*

Ghost in the Shell, based on the anime series. I wasn't expecting a whole lot from this when originally announced, and still didn't think it would be any good with the teaser, but the new trailer looks pretty awesome.

Opening of the anime version:

I'm very sceptic about the GitS remake. What made the original movie (and also the sequel) so special were among other things the very atmospheric intervening sequences and/in combination with the very unique and mesmerizing soundtrack by Kenji Kawai. I don't see any of this in this new trailer. It's seems to me too clean and lifeless...just another action blockbuster.

The original movies instead are highly poetic works of art to me.

I went looking for this topic as I was trying to think of the name of that movie.... Ghost in the Shell, thanks obsidian

Then I stumbled into YouTube as you do and found some upcoming movies and some soon I must see.

Life (2017)

Alien: Covenant (2017)

Aftermath (2017)

I do like a different Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.

The Alienist, upcoming show on TNT network sounds interesting.
Fukunaga (True Detective S01) was one of the scribes.

Interesting?

I do like this sort of historical drama and the mention of Scully, Gillian Anderson caught my eye as did Hugh Bonneville (Downtown Abbey).

Viceroy's House (2017)
