I didn't like it, too many spoilers...or were they Jedi mind tricks to throw us off?
Judging from phant saying it was "odd" I'm guessing the latter.

Either way, I think you’re right. They revealed too much.

Rian Johnson warned us a few days ago not to watch it if we wanted to go into the movie “clean”. Shoulda listened...

the entire marketing up the the movie alluded that Finn would be a Jedi, for starters.

the trailer also had a lot of edited shots, compare them to the actual shot in the movie and you'll notice quite the difference.

Hah, I dunno, I actually did put DC on some artwork (the headphones the rebels wear in the salt flat sequence). I never checked if the painters actually used it.

After letting the dust settle, it's no Rogue One but the kids will like it. It's better than TFA.

I sawd it too

I liked it a lot more than TFA (wasn't a massive fan of the reboot) but I think Disney are thumbling a bit, there's a lot of bloat story wise with dead ends. It was kind of weird, really, it was a very good film and I don't want to hit on it too much cos it'd be extremely unfair when compared to a lot of shit released these days but it felt more like a film from the Marvel universe.
