Have we not had any forum members actually come down with the Covid?

That narrative is all too common.

“I was sick in February and felt like shit for two weeks! I’m convinced it was Covid...”

Gramps died from covid and got his gay biker lover to pretend to be him postmortem... Does that count?

Why won’t Gramps admit he had Covid?

Because he was told he would get it if he went and did anyway? Admitting he was wrong isn't exactly one of his strengths...

We also haven’t heard from him since before the election. He got Covid and Trump lost. He’s 0 for 2. :olo:

He’s obviously the kind of guy that clams up and goes silent when he’s wrong or loses...

Well, in February in the states they were refusing to test for covid.
I was more sick than I had ever been in my life for three weeks. I was in and out of urgent care; inhaling was like trying to drink honey through a straw. Breathing was only possible in very shallow breaths. A normal breath was excruciating; xrays showed that I had a ton of fluid in the lining of my lungs. 103 F fever for three days.

I was told "you would know if you had coronavirus" when asked to be tested during this suffering.

I came down with this a few days after taking care of a sicko who just came back from a conference in Seattle that was 70% people that just flew in from China. Supposedly a few people left the convention straight for LA and then the cruise ship thing happened :paranoid:

More than likely the antibodies wouldn’t be there 9 months later...

yeah... and nobody as far as I've heard really has yet said something nailing that question... It does bother me with the vaccine-question.

Hahah... you think we're in dark times. Oh this is just dusk. Dark times is when the healthcare system begins to fail and you die because you do something stupid that's perfectly curable but can't get access to healthcare.

Lots of americans already live in that situation thanks to their backwards healthcare system.

I don't feel sorry for them. Most Americans I speak to on the subject think their healthcare system is perfect and that ours (Canada) is the real problem. All while their loved ones are dying from preventable diseases or going bankrupt for life saving drugs that cost pharmaceutical companies pennies to make. They vote for these shit cakes and support them because they grew up with a particular political brand and stick by that brand even when it's abusing the fuck out of them. Trying to convince them that they're wrong doesn't work so let them have their cake and eat it too.

I'd feel bad if most of the ones I've spoken to didn't sound exactly like gwamps. If I was an American and wasn't completely braindead I'd move out of that shithole country.

Here's a cool website that shows how we're all going to die. The different color represent the different mutations of covid I believe. I'm sure one of them will have a 99% fatality rate or some shit at some point.

Fortunately it's not the only vaccine in the works. I think Moderna has another one that doesn't need to be kept at such low temperatures, making it easier to distribute.

Yeah, I got mine a month or so back. Was driving by the hospital and there was a big sign out front that said “Flu Shots”. I whipped in there and they had a drive through. Rolled my window down and they stuck me. No charge. 10 seconds, in and out...

Our work does a flu clinic at the office every year, but since we're all WFH this year, they branded a party van and sent a mobile clinic out to everyone's home so you and your spouse could get the shot.

It's nice to work for a company that cares about the health of its people.

Not sure I'd trust a flu shot from a place that spelled it 'flue'. Might wanna make sure you don't have hep c now. :tard:

Still, I'd prefer that method of delivery above getting it through getting bumfucked by Geoff.
