hello peoples, long time no see. I've kinda gone off mapping and onto the programming side of things - although as you can see I'm no john carmack or ydnar. btw it's not a bsp for those wondering. I've made a map compiler which loads up a .map and makes it into something which is loaded by something else to render it. texture mapping is on its way. |

it's the old q3tower from the quake3world q3tower attempt which Foo and i made. i don't have an .aas for it or webspace to upload it to anymore. the screenshot above is from what i call q3tower2 which when i have time am going to try to make as realistic as possible. the old map. link http://pages.prodigy.net/dpfalandys/Fil ... 3tower.zip link [lvlshot]http://www.ThePixPlace.com/is23493.jpg[/lvlshot] i could make an .aas if ya really really wanted it. |

Looking VERY interesting there, sumatra. I keep being amazed at what the Q3A engine can achieve when used by skillful people. Yup => |

looks like a hairy buttplug somehow the textures are cool, but the trunk is far from realistic. go out and have a look at trees. |

redfella, cool, but I think the lighting outside is probably a bit too blue. |
Author: | sumatra [ 04-10-2005 09:04 AM ] |

I like the bluetone lighting, but I think there is need of some softed shadows outside, cause it looks like using an ambient parameter, no differences in the light, also every housewall is lit the same. More brightnessdifferences are the solution /methinks. Give your skybox a nice angle, to fit your map Looks very nice though ! sumatra |

yes sure, but if i'd build a giant penis and said: "wow look at this beautiful tree!" ... |

If you wanted penis shaped trees in your map, that would be ok too. |
