I'm looking for some good looking low-poly models of real cars for my future Q3 mapping projects. Currently I prepare some assets to one experimental map heavily inspired by real world place - our garden... I am pretty lazy to make ones myself, so please, where can I get low-poly models with texturing?

I am looking for european cars mostly, like Volkswagen, Renault, Škoda and Trabant :) Now I'm looking for Passat, Cangoo, Felicia and Trabant models, if you know where to get these? :toothy:

pretty sure you're not allowed to use their likeness. you're much better off using generic sedan and station models

Use some of the cool Russian-Tuning-Scene Photos to brush out a Car and convert it to a Model.

:)

Sorry, todays my "funny Day".. :sly:
I have no Idea where to find Car Modesl for use in Q3.
Maybe you can finde some over at a CS/HL2-Editing site. But if you have fun doing stuff try to do your own Cars. You could make the windows of the car full of dirt so you cant see inside (and dont have to brush out the inside of the car).
I tried stuff like this in QuArK. In QuArK you could apply an photo as Background in the views what makes it easy to get the shape you want. Give it a try! I think you know alot more about mapping then me.

Quake III Rally uses american standards and they're mostly off-roads. I need normal passanger cars for Europeans...

I tried QuArK once, total disorientation in controls and AV was shouting out it has malware. Never retry QuArK again, glad returned back to Radiant... So I will make it myself then, but first I will need to opt-out metrics to make the cars exact size as would be compared to size of ordinary man. I think of making glass little dirty as the map is intended to be place abandoned only a little time... I can make various versions of the models from completely new to completely old and time-consumed... Also there will be cars damaged by fallen meteor - the main idea of the experiment to be a change from real version...

In fact QuArK allows to convert some models. Are there in the games supported by QuArK any suitable car models? If so, try them with QuArK.

I will try to google them out and possibly make it myself (with interior where needed)...
