Post subject:  Printing looks shitty

I have a Lexmark Z42 printer with one black & white ink cartrige. When I print text from Word, etc, it looks shitty and images look horrible, although I convert everything into B&W. Anyone know if its a driver or a hardware problem?

Cleaned the nozzles and aligned the cartriges, looks good now.
