when i put the cd in the trey nothing comes up can anyone help me???????????

go to my computer, double click on the quake icon

if you have Microsoft Antispyware or Defender installed, turn that off for the duration of the q3 install.
Quake3 uses an old installshield process which name has a _ prefix. MS AntiSpyWare blocks all _xxx processes because most of them are trojans.
