I went to the DFI site to get BIOS updates and whatnot, nad noted the driver section. They have the same version number nForces as nvidia's site for one version, but also have 6.37; I don't see that on nVidia's site anywhere, but their own beta pack is in the 7.** range. Basically, I'm confused as hell, so what version/place is my best bet for nForce drivers?

Joined: 15 Feb 2004 Posts: 1615	Posted: 03-21-2005 06:04 PM                  I'm going to try to keep all my new questions on this mobo in one thread; My case had a temp sensor for the front panel temp display, and I forgot to put it on the heatspeader of the CPU, so I just jammed it between two fins on the HSF. I'm getting a temp or 101 Fahrenheit, which is ~38 celsius. Keeping in mind this is whilst formatting my hard-drive to install windows, so I can't get to the BIOS (which oddly didn't prompt me to set up anything, just booted to CD instantly) nor to a monitoring app, and that its wedged between teo big slices of metal whose sole purpose is to absorb and dissipate heat, is this a good reading?

I wouldn't put the sensor on the die as it prolly does not aid in heat transfer. The mobo manufacture's apps are most likely your best and most accurate reading of temputure where it is most critical so I would just use that app _________________ Hugh Hefner for President
