Trying to avoid a £500 upgrade :paranoid:

I'm not experienced with AMD, but I'm going to say no. Different architecture and chipset.

I was afraid of that...in fairness my rig is getting on a bit so perhaps a full on refresh would be the way to go. I will be looking for people's experience with lower energy silent running boxes soon
