I'm a little upset and in the same way also sad now. like ever my lack of attention create a big mess.

Every suggestion is accepted i will be short also because two days modding the code without speakers on tests made a "spring clean up" very hard to me:

PROBLEM: every weapon in every map make a noise (the typical beep beep beep beep (looped forever...usually i got that when i add some third party stuff without the proper sound)), every other stuff works fine, build and compile with 0 errors.

Just floating weapons before the pick up makes this noise and for what i know weapons doesn't make any sound when they are on the map.

Suggestions, commands (i hope that it exist a command in order to check what's wrong directly from the game.../devmap doesn't give me any error, just random yellow warnings),files to check etc... to used in order to understand what's wrong etc... will be appreciated.

I'm nearby to trash all the mod for the 5tn time.

Please...help me :cry:

That dinging sound indicates missing sounds and those yellow messages are telling you about it. I don't have the code in front of me right now but that's TA's weapon hover sound. Search for weaponhover. It should be in cg_local.h, cg_main.c and cg_ents.c. Remove the relevant entries.

yes it was exactly the missing sound ding. Thank you muffin, i was able to find the weaponhover sound and i made a cvar in order to set it off for default :D now all works again :D

it's possible that the game still use old pak1.pk3 TGA images also if i have new .png images inside my pak9.pk3 (obviously with the same name) ?
