u must turn net_allowCheats 1 on. its considered a cheat. i know q3 didnt by default but it is in most mods and with punkbuster u cant in baseq3 either. |

you can use these commands too.. pm_thirdPersonAngle direction of camera from player in 3rd person in degrees (0 = behind player, 180 = in front) pm_thirdPersonClip clip third person view into world space pm_thirdPersonDeath enables third person view when player dies pm_thirdPersonHeight height of camera from normal view height in 3rd person pm_thirdPersonRange camera distance from player in 3rd person |

The player animations look much worse in 3rd person then those in Doom3. Especially the jumping animation, almost feels unfinished somehow. |
