If cevolved started a division which is pay2play most likley 15 bucks per-person and its a whole season. Which is 8 matches 1 match a week for amature. Proffesional gets 2 matches a week but they will only start that if they get enough people.
So how many in these forums would be willing to play cevo for quake4?

For more information http://www.cevolved.com

***EDIT***

Sorry if you dont know what cevo is at the end of the season the cash pot they use for the winners.
Like first place will get 3,000
Second would get 900
third 400

I have to pay you to play? Why? :s

Will you at least have some good prizes at the end of the seasons?

Ok so I would have to pay a 1 time fee of $15 to play in 1 season and at the end I would have a shot at winning $1000? That doesn't sound too bad, I personally wouldn't enter but I know that some people would. I think it would depend on how many people you draw to be honest. If you only drew very few people than it wouldn't be worth it to me because the prize pool would be so small.

You might want to post this over at http://www.esreality.com/ as well (if you haven't already). ESR is where most of the competitive scene hangs out.
