Get it now, fireteam h0m0! And make sure you join the Quake3World clan.

It's a pretty big update. See the full details.

Some more notable changes:
  • Tutorial mode for noobs in hope that radars will be deployed and mines will actually be armed. :dork:
  • No more spamming of vehicles sitting in the base (invulnerable until used), not sure if I'm fond of that.
  • Anansi and Tormentor has been "nerfed" to prevent endless spamming.
  • MCP should be easier to escort.
  • ETQW-TV.

Got it. I haven't checked for servers being upgraded yet. Did they get the upgrade early?

Can't download it yet, but did they make sniping harder as DooMer said? Would like to hear some comments.

I don't think they made sniping any harder, but it is certainly easier to spot the trails so that you can shoot back at them.

Overall it's a lot more balanced, especially for the GDF MCP escort objectives.

There's a bug in game where the ranks don't show up on the scoreboard (I *think* it does show the proper ranks when your crosshairs are focused on someone). In a way, it's somewhat of a fix since it may be helping to curb the team stacking issue.

We had a good set of games last night with about 6 or 7 Q3Wers on Fireteam h0m0. I think I played all 12 maps and we only lost 2.
