Had one of those days where you're working your ass off, situation 1 resolved and situation 2 immediately approaches with blaring sirens, that sort of thing. Jaysus, it's late all of a sudden, almost time to head home :)

Was forced to skip lunch, but it's better than being bored, which also happens occasionally.

Made redundant just before Christmas, now have three offers I've got to work down to one and negotiate.

I'm off to India in a few weeks for a fortnight, because a certain IT company there has trouble getting their shit done so now they need someone from the outside to help them out.

I wish. Most of these manufactures are selling kit which makes anything from 3 - 9% margin once it's been through the channel. Pretty much all cards are 3% margin apart from PNY and their professional computation cards.
So if i go ahead it'll be a cost price rig but i should be able to get a great spec and high quality parts for well under £1k.
