So you feel left out. Watching your Windows brethren having all this fun while you stubbornly wallow in elitist pride. Now you can be proud to use a non conforming OS AND have fun.
Oh, and there's a new instagib CTF mode.

Quake Live now with Mac and Linux support
Re: Quake Live now with Mac and Linux support
Quake Live causes my Windows Vista x64 to become unresponsive and I'm forced to do a hard reboot. It seems to happen towards the end of an online multiplayer match.
Hopefully Mac/Linux versions work better.
Edit: Mac version seems to work fine on the current 24" iMac (sadly not mine), but doesn't work on my older Core Duo white iMac. I'll have to test the Linux client sometime.

Re: Quake Live now with Mac and Linux support
Some important changes yesterday. Including shotgun pellet spread and:
Added cg_HitBeep <0/1/2/3> (default: 1) to play different tones based on the amount of damage done to an opponent. 0 = off, 1 = single tone (old style), 2 = new multi-tone option, 3 = reverse multi-tone option.
