Stats like these have been around for a couple months now. It’s really one of the best arguments people can make. And yet I’ve tried to use it, only to give up because, well you know, morons...

.... and
New Zealand records first new local Covid-19 cases in 102 days.

... New Zealand has recorded four new cases of Covid-19 after 102 days without any community transmission, the prime minister, Jacinda Ardern, has announced at a late-night press conference.
........Three other members of the family of six living in the house have tested positive for coronavirus; the others have tested negative. One of those diagnosed was a preschooler.

How ironic would it be if our statistician becomes a statistic...

I did consider and am off to take one now but figure I'd be rather unlucky to score here as there have been no new cases in my state for 10+ days, then I read the New Zealand latest....

Going by Worldometer, they have my county's numbers way off. They're showing 833 active cases which we only have 413. 29 deaths which we only have 25 and even showing 1 for yesterday when we haven't had a death since Thursday. Less than 20 in the hospital at the moment also even though they don't report that by county. The active cases here have been dropping steadily for about a week now. Hospital count has been dropping also.
