I liked it, but I cannot not like a zombie movie. It was pretty stupid though. I love the ending line when they were about to mow down the President Zombie: "No, leave them. They're just looking for a place to go, just like us."

lol

I turned it off after about half an hour. I really wanted to like it, but it was so bad it was giving me kidney stones.

I got through it by making constant wise cracks.

somethingawful wrote:Remember how in "Day of the Dead" mankind seemed to be down to the last few survivors isolated on a military base? Forget all that. Dennis Hopper has created a capitalist wonderland and he's got a bunch of commandos tooling around zombie country scavenging in a giant super truck that can shoot fireworks. And the zombies are becoming intelligent for some reason. And we're supposed to forgive all this nonsense because George Romero is the grandfather of the genre. If your real grandfather takes a big shit on your carpet you're not going to love it because "oh, that's grandpa." You're going to clean it up, put grandpa in a diaper and try to forget it ever happened. Try to forget this movie ever happened.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

I went to the cast and crew screening today (a mate works in movies). It's easily the best film so far (also the best book).

Excellent film.

Der Untergang -- 8/10 Quality. Excellent roles and acting, made for some convincing Nazis. Hilter was funny too when he went ape-shit. OUT OF ALL THE PEOPLE, HIMMMLA!!!!!! HIMMMLAAA! FEGGERAL FEGGERAL FEGGERAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last nite on TBS: The Matrix -- 7/10. It's pretty good, the only one worth watching. The Matrix Reloaded -- 4/10 What a pile of wank shit. Only watched it half way. Looking back I don't get how much hype these movies got. Fucking PROPHECY OMG HES THE ONE!!! AM I THE ONE? HMMM I DUNNO. IS JET LI THE ONE IN THE ONE!??!?!

The series went to shit as soon as one of those wachowskis bastards started wearing drag.

Even though you already know the twist, it's still a very good movie. Too bad M Night Shanamalanayalalaman have only managed to produce shit after this one.
