Fun stuff.
This video was recorded where we go boating on the weekends. Cool stuff.

I spent the last couple nights in the garage replacing the timing chain, water pump and thermostat in my Cutlass, in preparation for a weekend trip with the lady. We're taking it out for a camping trip this weekend into next week and wanted to replace some stuff for piece of mind. That beast is gonna look awesome with a 15' tandem kayak strapped to the top of it :olo:

Other than that, I might have a lead on a potential position in Chicago.

Went for a 2 hour lovely country drive to some 'once a month' markets held at their local showgrounds. Busy as! Didn't buy much at all but plan to go back in a month or 3 and do it again and go to the local winery for lunch :) I love country drives :D

Well, read note to self and removed pelmets ready for those plantation shutters.

I am told they mostly come from China these days :smirk: so wait we must.
Still have to fill/plug, sand and paint those little holes left in the deep recessed window surrounds. Make it look nice :D
Looks like a trip to the hardware store as I can't seem to find that sandpaper I had stashed away. Better buy some paint as well.

See the movie thread: I went to the movies (or do you call it the cinema?) today and saw the Tom Cruise, Live, Die, Repeat thing, the movie, Edge of Tomorrow.

Jr. A goalie coach reached out to me and gave me a private session to gauge my potential and now he wants to work with me full-time. I'm also designing a new logo and advertising for his goalie school. Also a new ad agency is interested in hiring me as a full-time art director.

This sounds awesome. I'm jealous of the gypsy lifestyle...

I don't fly that often and while not terrified, I have a heightened sense of concern :) so I do feel for you feedback; there are a few flight hours headed your way.

Went on paternal leave again about a year ago, with the intention not to return to my old job. So now I'm looking for a new job, and we're making plans to buy a plot of land and build a house.

Oh, and I've started painting WH40K miniatures again, it's been 14 years since last time.

Nice to see that everything seems to be the same over here.

Most of are well and happy Grudge. Stick around and you'll quickly spot the miscreants.

Every now and then some of the old school drop in and say hello like you :D

I suspect we that stay, just like prodding this beast.

Yes those pelmets were removed days ago.

With two days until the tradesmen arrive to install those plantation shutters, so today I worked hard to fill holes, sand lightly and then paint 3 different colours around 13 rather large windows recessed some 150mm (6 inches).

Boy, am I a little sore in sore limbs.

Cross your fingers for me for Monday that all goes well :)

Well, I am lucky to be alive after being beside this when it drove under a bridge with it's crane still up. Lucky it flipped to the left rather than the right and on to me;

And I have been to enjoy the beautiful beaches that the UK has to offer;

A couple job opportunities opened up, one is an art director position at a growing ad agency and the other is a graphic artist job for Rogers Sportsnet which has basically taken over Canada's NHL broadcasts. Trying to decide where to spend the next 6-12 months at before I move back to Finland. Also planning a trip to Iran to visit relatives as soon as I get my passport.
