Lol so much hate.

Here's what I raced on the road. It was an older model however but otherwise the same bike.

Are you fishing seremtan? Surely you must have these sorts of motorists where you drive!

These drivers (?) seem happy to sit on your rear and too close at highway speeds and usually undertake a dangerous overtaking manoeuvre at the most unexpected time.

You have heard of the 3 second separation rule for motoring I hope.

I've bought a Canyon mountainbike last year. It's collecting dust in the shed.

I got a Galaxy S6.

So far I'm not too impressed either. The O/S and touch screen seem sluggish compared to my S4 when it was new. You have to unlock the phone to fast forward or pause Pandora (ghey). And the thing that really sucks is they've gone the way of the iCrap. You can no longer change the battery or upgrade the storage. :disgust:

That sucks. I still have an s3 and see no reason to upgrade.

I took my flat/puncture in for repair and they said I needed new rubber on all wheels :smirk: On checking, I think so too.

I didn't mention but the car developed a little annoying rattle noise on the highway. I took it to the mechanics a day or two ago and they will need it for a couple of days. It appears to be suspension related but the mechanic/technician said it could be the windscreen wiper arm linkage?

It seems they need to strip the front end of the car down somewhat to investigate. If they identify the problem, order the parts then reassemble over 3 days. At least I get a nice new loan car of my choice (this time) for the period :D

I simply don't understand why people buy phones like this. You're merely validating Samsung's shitty idea of what a phone is.

Today I investigated a slow start up on my clothes dryer but being the technician I am (was) I thought it would be the start up capacitor. On googling as you do, it seems I was right. I took the dryer off the wall (removed the power plug :!: ) removed the back and their it was. Looked OK, but it is going to be replaced.

The part on ebay was $30 plus postage for the replacement. I didn't like the look of the cheaper stuff and I figured, not too bad at all for the genuine part. Just got the email from the sender who says 3 -5 days for delivery.

Feeling :D

Serious note -- that cap may very likely need to be discharged before you handle it, if you are thinking of doing the swap yourself. Usually you can drain them out through a 2W resistor or something, but it depends on how big it is. Don't just go rummaging around in there, you could potentially kill yourself depending on circumstances and the specs on the cap. Drain it or get a real technician to do the swap for you.

Thanks for the reminder mrd  I was sure to discharge it before going anywhere near it as I have first hand experience of household electrical accidents :smirk:

I have told the story of the dead man lead I discovered in the early 1980's haven't I?
