Quake3World

Haven't been around here in a while.. wanted to see what the Q3 crowd thinks of Quake Champions.
The original announcement trailer was kinda meh..



But the first gameplay trailer that was just released looks pretty slick.. the level design & gameplay looks classic Q3, think I spotted a few reskinned maps?
However the characters, animations, weapons looked a bit rough.. maybe placeholder art?

Quake 3 on steroids. Looks fuckin great...

Looks like Quake 3 with better graphics. Will wait and see.

Looks like a cross between doom and unreal..basically an original quake with lots of room and focused mechanics.

Hints of different maps this looks pretty legit..has a certain authenticity of excellence and originality to it. Very refined...very interesting. very interesting.

Reminds me of quake3 single player campaign where a fresh insight on gameplay maps and even characters were to be had...models like hunter and uriel..theyre hitting on the character. Looks like ID has done some wonder since acquisition. very interesting. nice marketing. very interesting.

Agreed. I haven't played Q3 in over a decade, but I definitely recognized that bit with the pillars as dm6.

I will say, two things happened following the discovery of this,
1) i soon had the runs
2) my nose began to bleed right after..right nostril

two things that havent happened in a long time..
I believe this to be precursor of my next metamorphosis in conjunction.

yea thats defo a DM6 remake. Bridge to Rail is there as well (0:27).

Yeah definitely saw some Q3DM6 in a few scenes although it was definitely modified somewhat. I might actually get a PC for this.
