Re: What is new in my little world: Besides the ISP/ADSL saga that should be rectified tomorrow, I will have to venture to the shops, challenging the crowds to grab some last Christmas gifts and then off to the bottle shop for some classy champagne for Christmas lunch with the family. Less than a week to go :eek:
She's a few years older, yes :) I believe her replacement will be someone from our other office halfway across the country, whom everyone likes and respects. It will be tough to replace her knowledge, though... we are a small research department!

Hope your holidays go swimmingly :) Have a friend in Brisbane who has gone to spend them with her in-laws in Darwin -- she and her husband have also just confirmed they are coming here to CA in June, which I am excited about.

State champs 6A district 1... 41-13... Total domination... Seems I rubbed off on the team... When we weren't in luxury boxes we were on the field sitting on the same benches as the cowboys do... Jellus?...

Trying to figure out where to go on vacation end of next month... Were gonna do the new over the water bungalows in Mexico but they are booked up for our days... Any suggestions? Best carribean island? St Lucia? What's the story?...

The only non-poor islands in the Caribbean are St. Kitts and Saint Barthélemy...

Participated in a toy drive yesterday host by Treasure Coast Indian Motorcycle. The police escort was pretty cool.

News here: Just got an email from the construction company installing Australia's National Broadband Network (NBN). In January they want to install termination equipment in the basement for FTTB (Fibre to the building).

It has taken years to get to our community. I thought it would be 2018 before I saw it here, might still be of course :smirk:

Yes painless. Found a car park quickly then into the shops and crowds. I had a list in my head and found helpful staff easily. The list was done in less than an hour :D
