The 5900x is going to be god tier for games. You're lucky you're even in line. Hopefully you'll get it before christmas

we noticed you've beaten off to gimps with ballgags 12 times this week, people who masturbated to this have also beaten off to dwarf wrestling and cactus anal.

It also hits the sweet spot for workstations. Gonna enjoy 12 cores of render power

Lady Carlos is acquiring it for me on the PS5 (though it will be the PS4 version...) for Christmas, as the GFX card in my PC won't hack it with any reasonable setting with a playable frame rate.

Cool! Glad to see I won’t be the only one playing.

Donny, you won’t be playing until Xmas?

Also, on XBOX you’ll be able to download the next gen version for free once it’s released. Is that the same for PS5?

No, not until Christmas, which is fine as I still have Miles Morales to play, the Doom Eternal DLC and Ghosts of Tsushima to finish.

Yeah it's the same for PS5 too

My backlog is so immense and I just can't feel the hype for video games like I used to.
It even took me 2 years before I first played Doom 2016 and I have always considered myself a bit of an I'd Software fanboy

Right now I'm having fun with Batman Arkham Origins and some Wii U games. Don't see why I should pay €60 or even €70 for a brand new game when I've just picked up three Wolfenstein games for €15 and Breath of the Wild for €30

Yeah, I almost feel the same way. I want to play the next gen version, but they don’t even have a release date for it. In February, you’ll still be playing the Xbox One version, if even on the Series X...

Actually, now that I’m reading some reviews, it might be worth waiting until a healthy patch. Seems to be a bit buggy...

Witcher 3 was buggy on release too. I remember it having frequent CTDs.
That came good eventually though, so fingers crossed.

It's just as well, I can't find a 3070 anywhere. :paranoid:

Also there's this: https://kotaku.com/40-boxes-of-rtx-3090 ... 1845828729

If you live near a Microcenter that is probably your best chance. afaik they aren’t listing their stock or selling 3000 series online yet so you can get lucky and find one on the shelf without competing with bots.

I just placed an order on a Ryzen 5900x because Geoff can't afford it.
