looks like Hotshot racing a bit. I've been playing that a lot lately on xbox. It's pretty fun, has some burnout revenge feels to it and of course I'm just unbeatable at it.

I thought hot shot racing is a low effort nostalgia trap, trying to capture that Daytona/SpeedUp vibe and failing.
I deleted it after a night of playing.

Oh it's definitely a nostalgia trap style game but the actual gameplay is quite solid, at least in ranked or when played in expert mode. The races are short affairs but well crafted, the vehicles give a lot of room for different driving styles and the music and announcer scores are pretty spot on for the game. It's like a cross between mario kart and burnout revenge. I quite like it. If you don't like playing online against other players it would probably get old quick though.
