Oh wow, really? I always thought the ghost pepper was the hottest. You grow these yourself? For what purpose?

I'm not an 'eat the whole pod' kind of chili head but I do like spicy food and I like growing and doing stuff with food. I grew some ghost peppers last year and made some sauce and spicy salt; I figured I'd grow more variety this year and now I've become a bit obsessed.

If anyone here is interested in seeds I'd be happy to send some. Just pm me your mailing address.

Cool. It's probably too late this year, but I'd love some seeds. I'll send you my address...

You could do them indoors if you had the right set up... or a greenhouse. Too late for outdoors though. I'll pass. That shit is eons higher than the level of spice I'm OK with :olo:

I tried to grow some chilli's for the first time earlier this year. I germinated them then eventually moved them to individual pots over the course of a couple of months. I had about 20 strong plants then one night a mouse happened to get in the house and destroyed them all >:(.

They were still at the seedling stage so there were no actual chillis. But I imagine there must be some heat in that still, heh.

Ordered a couple of new cameras today. 5DSr and a 5D MKIII. Been using a 5D2 for smaller shoots since 2010 - looking forward to a nice bump in filesize ot match my Hasselblad from the 5DS, and a nice bump in low light capability from the 5D3. Can't wait

I've never posted in this thread before because I don't own a proper camera and know fuck all about photography. But I must say,
I'm quite impressed with my S6 phone camera. :) Does low light quite well too.

Yeah, butterfly, tap and insect all on auto with no post edit, and the other three I added a bit of sharpness in PS.

That's a great camera. Second to last, woman with a brush. Where's that? There's one of those right next to my work outside a brush making company.

Yep it's a very capable phone camera indeed. Apparently it comes with two sensors, a sony MX240 and a samsung Isocell. There's a running discussion on XDA about the sony having better depth and detail than the samsung. Mine's the samsung but I've got no complaints.

That brush woman is in London Road, Hemel Hempstead. You can see the same brush shop board here in front of wickes but the statue wasn't installed then. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.73694 ... !1e1?hl=en

Yeah it's pretty cool metal art. :)

Nice shots for a phone camera  They just keep getting better and better. Very impressive.

I might have to look at a smart phone :smirk: and not as a mobile telephone handset but a camera.

Do it, if you get an iPhone you'll be able to dictate letters of complaint directly to Siri.

Hah, no way. Small world! :D Ah yeah Apsley, but it's in Hemel. The address of the Oddfellows Arms pub dead opposite the statue is London Road, Apsley, Hemel Hempstead, Herts HP3 9SP.

 I was gonna say we might have driven past each other at some point without knowing, (unless you spotted the nose) but unlikely as I'm only ever up there on sundays. I finished doing a short gig at that pub when I took that pic as I very occasionally play sunday afternoons there.

Not wanting to go off topic, just saying I didn't know you could dictate letters directly to Siri.

Only recently, after getting my Samsung tablet out of the drawer and switching it on, I asked it a question :paranoid: and was surprised it went to the correct website :smirk:

Edit: Spelling
