How can it be pointless if it kept you captivated? Maybe you should not rely on clickbait articles to form an oppinion on movies.

England versions say "Get the Paki's back into their cage" or some shit like that.

Fuck you world, you bunch of insufferable wankers. Not everything is designed racist - stop trying to find racism in every little thing because you feel the right to be upset. Cunts.

looks like we get us another Last Airbender ladies and gents :olo:

Ryoki, how does that story play out? Is it like a confined drama out in the desert? Sounds interesting.

Pretty much a confined drama in a minefield, yeah.

chappie 7.5/10
yeah i can see how it can be seen as a complete failure for those who were looking for something more, since it didn't really try to carry all the weight of this subject matter on its showlders, but if you overlook that; it was a good isolated story about how a situation like that could play out given the circumstances.

...also, I like this director's style so...

I will rephrase as it may sound like my opinion where that was not intended.

Some might say the non-linear narrative is confusing, annoying or pointless. I don't know but it captivated me for the length of this movie.

Oh and Pext, I watched the movie and had the captivated opinion before I read the article. I was a little taken a back with the timeline changing then I worked out where it was going. If you have seen it, I would guess you too were confused when
Vincent (John Travolta) is killed by Butch (Bruce Willis) by a silenced Uzi then reappears later in the movie

I was not familiar with the term 'clickbait' :smirk:

Edit: Smelling

Kelly's Heroes (1970)

You must have seen it by now and I was very surprised it was made as long ago as 1970, that's near 45 years ago.

Stars Clint Eastwood, Telly Savalas, Donald Sutherland, Gavin MacLeod and many others you may recognize..

Nice to see it again as I've not seen it in years.
All I can say is it's a classic, so get a chance, you simply must see it.

IMDB

Edit: Corrections as below

Thanks Mat Linnett. I worked it out twice in my head and that's sad.

Amy - 7/10, maybe more if you liked her music - a very well done documentary. She really seemed to have no clue what she was getting into and was completely unprepared for it. Was interesting seeing people like Dave Grohl, who should know better, having a cheap laugh at her addictions.

Lee Van Cleef was awesome, wish he'd make more movies with Clint and Eli Wallach (Tuco)

Terminator Genisys (2015)

I have always enjoyed the Terminator series of movies I'll say on the outset, although the previous Terminator Salvation was a let down.

I enjoyed watching Terminator Genisys this morning and really wasn't surprised.
Full of action special (CGI) effects and the actors doing a fine job. Arnie is Arnie of course.
The bus crash on the Golden Gate Bridge (you see in the trailer) was well done but there were many other 'well done' scenes.

Go see it: 8/10

It will be difficult as Van Cleefdied died in 1989 and Eli died last year :tear: but you knew that I think.

This movie was a LOT better than I thought it would be. It was a fantastic movie. Very gripping and I loved the pace of it.

Jack Reacher (2012)

Found this to be an interesting movie. Suspense and action made it entertaining. Good plot too.
Briefly an ex sniper is framed for the random shooting of five innocents designed to cover up the murder of one business owner that didn't want to sell.

7.5/10

Elephant - 8/10

Really slow and a bit depressing but beautifully shot and an interesting way of telling the story.
