This, plus you can go hang out at your local coffee shop
... again complete weirdo rule applies at the coffee shop as well

There is a market for everything, if you can find the car in that good of shape you can surely find parts. I find although annoying Facebook groups dedicated to the car are your best resources. you've got fanatics that have 5 of everything in their garage.

Great thought

>:( They are closing the 2G mobile network here on December 1 necessitating those with old mobile handsets to get new 3G compatible ones. Yes, my 2 handsets are old school. I just need to make/receive voice and send/receive the occasional text message.

I attended the shop yesterday at 10am to fire-up the new handset that arrived by courier the day before. The staff transferred the address book and set the new phone.

My problem is, I didn't check it worked before leaving the store. I get home and it isn't working (save emergency calls). I called and spoke to the same staff member from my landline and she tried to explain that it could take up to 24 hours for the new phone to activate

Can you believe that?

You'd think. But with my '96 Z28 it seems like parts have just vanished off of the planet. Discontinued or absolutely no one has them. Finding a console lid with the bracket intact has almost proved impossible. I'm trying to restore it to original state and it's proving difficult in some areas. Junk yards have been some help, but there's not many mid 90s f-bodies still around in there. Makes me almost consider an LT1/LS1 swap and screw original state. Although the LT1 can take more max pressure, and with tweaking can match a modified LS1. I'm not looking to make a monster or even a quarter car, just something with some balls.

I expect YGP to come in here and tell me how to restore my car like he did with my house. :dork:

With an LS1 in the picture I would drop the idea of keeping it original and be thinking boost booost boost!

Had a little fun today working on ways to get great driving footage, while recording the exhaust all while eliminating wind noise.

I worked out the wind noise issue, I just need to work on the clipping when on the throttle hard. I'll give it another run tomorrow, but this footage was too good to waste.

Enjoy and yes I was picking up a Prius battery.

I setup and configure phones as part of my job for government officials and that line is complete horsehit. It takes about 15 minutes for our telcos to activate a sim that's been switched over....

That will be the deciding factor. If I do the swap there would be absolutely no point in keeping it original.

Thank you

Oddly enough in the world of getting free stuff, YouTube isn't all that, it helps but sadly Facebook and Instagram is where I get most of my sponsors from.

You ever watch Street Outlaws? There is a lot of love for the LS1 in that show.

How bad are the rims damaged? I have the tiniest imperfection on my rim from turning the wheel (while not moving) into a curb. It kills me every time I clean it mostly because it was my fault.

... and Thank you
