There are some beers that are very nasty and should not even exist. Some are downright undrinkable.

I was in the bottle shop today picking up supplies and aHendricks label caught my eye for some bizarre reason :smirk:

In the afternoon, I had 2 or 3 G & Ts and then started wandering Q3W and found this topic....

Cheers phantasmagoria  It is a really nice drop.

Some recent beers.

10% ABV by Southern Tier.

9.5% 4ABV by Funky Buddha

9% ABV by Founders

9.5% ABV by Yeti

8.5% ABV by Southern Tier

10.6% ABV by Crown Valley

All of them were really good. I'd have to say the Choklat Oranj by Southern Tier was the best, with the Chocolate Oak Aged Imperial Stout running a close second. The Pumking was my least favorite of the bunch. But I'm also partial to stouts.

I just can't do pumpkin beer. That shit is nasty. Of course, I can't stand Octoberfest beers either. Just never could develop a taste for them.

Found a bottle of "Maiden-Bräu" as i call it, from the last gig in Frankfurt-Main in 2013.
Not my taste but the coolest beer-bottle design ever!

If you're a fan of bourbon barrel aged beers, you've got to try this big stout. At 13.5% ABV it will surely kick your ass.

I've had a few. It's a decent ale. Nothing spectacular. I think it's a little high priced for what it is, but it's certainly not bad at all.

You can leave out the ABV, think we all know how alcohol percentages work :smirk:

Interesting to see how the American beer market has apparently changed in the last decade or so, i can remember you heathens thinking bud light was an actual decent beer. I for one applaud all these diverse micro brewery beers, surely it makes for better quality beer overall. Would love to try some as i've never heard of any of them, but the only store i think would have some is far away and expensive, so meh.

If you're into Stouts this traditional 12%er is for you. It is SO good.

These beers aren't available in the majority of markets around here. The only place you can find them are in beer boutiques and they are a bit pricey.

BTW, I think the ABV is something to note.

I have a beer glass set. After trying them all I realized that it doesn't make any noticeable difference and you just look like a pretentious twat using them.

Glasses aside, this is a pretty ignorant statement.
