I like the wood walls waaayy better than drywall

I think it's all fine I wouldn't do anything

If I was a wannabe style douch I would thicken the trim around the door frame and floor an d I would remove the computer for other reasons

I do like the floor

Window surround looks a bit pants, make it bigger too ?, it needs a sill... looks too narrow

I hate slat panels, or interior wood walls. Reminds me of the 70s houses in need of renovation. Like indoor brick.

Like the furniture too, not so much a fan of the white or that minging chair though. Maybe some coving like Shaft said and the fan / door needs to go ASAP.

Get some curtains !, add a bit of colour n all.

It's obvious his house was some tiny ranch style house originally and then people just starting tacking on rooms and carports around it for the past 40 years, that's why nothing looks consistent. I betting this room wasn't even its own room to begin with, it was probably sectioned off from the main living room when the bedrooms downstairs weren't enough.

Probably... Nothing wrong with additions, as long as they're done right. But the MBR does look like an addition of sorts.

Actually idiot, ur partly right but mostly wrong... The house was originally a tiny one story flat roof lake house. Those walls were always there however and were accented downstairs as well. When the upstairs was added they put the same paneling in to be consistent... Some crazy Willie Nelson parties took place here... One room downstairs used to be a dry sauna/massage/orgy area...

When they added the top floor Willie's lake view got blocked and he moved... Quit being so bitter and jellus...

I don't mind the paneling if it fits the rest of the lakehouse decor, he should panel at least one of other walls though (maybe paint the remaining one with an accent color) and fix it up with some bigger matching trim or crown. As long as its consistent.

I would probably give up on this room and make a proper master bedroom with a bath somewhere else in the house, gut this room and make it an office. Your pc clearly needs a home.

Typically a small room right off the garage leading to the rest of the house, just for family use. Guests come in the front door and there is a separate coat closet for them.

behind the pic is a doorway that leads out to the kitchen area or stairs to the basement.

I would do my entire house but my wife likes carpet for some reason I don't know why, it looks like shit after 2 years with all the kids. Its a northern thing I guess. Warmer on the feet in the winter.

Sorry chump, tiny bedrooms with tiny closets is where the square footage matters. Every picture shows your house is cramped and small.

If that's the size of your master bedroom it just proves the others are even smaller. That and you have to keep your pc in your bedroom. You probably have to shower and shave in the same bathroom you try to keep tidy for guests.

Yeah the problem with this old house is it has a small kitchen and small master suit... But there are large living areas and of course, the Willie Nelson scouted panaramic view, sitting on top of a hill on an acre...Anyways that's why I want to build the master suit in the garage by the pool... The kids rooms are larger than standard size rooms these days... The upstairs living room is 42x16, living area downstairs 25x15... When I get my way and do the conversion downstairs we will have a 775 sqft master suit...

Obviously shaft is bitter and jellus... But that's totally understandable...

ur mad everyone can see through your bullshit.

Someone who spends 100k on a car when he lives in such squalor. More concerned about keeping up fake appearances and racing billy bob next door. Two Audi's but walmart faux wood blinds, $30 window trim kit from the home depot and 45yr old kitchen appliances. grow up :olo:
