Oh great, another lets-post-without-reading-other-peoples'-posts thread :D

Anyway, my fav's:

44teeth: If you like motorcycles, this is the channel to follow. These guys are on par with early Top Gear work but then on two wheels instead of four. They are very knowledgeable about the subject matter and a bunch of crazy fun loving faffers to boot. Very British.
chaseontwowheels: Started out as a Moto vlogger, not really that interesting, but currently he's doing his second series of "Wrecked Bike Rebuild" where he bought a wrecked motorcycle and is rebuilding it and modding it with all kinds of stuff. He's a total noob though, so he called in the help of Brian (aka Brain) who is like a walking encyclopedia on motorcycle engineering.
FortNine: Another motorcycle channel. Does gear reviews as well as motorcycle reviews. The quality of his content is unrivaled IMO.
Motorcyclist Magazine: Yes, another motorcycle channel. They are a more serious channel but with fun, high quality content. They do reviews, specials, MC Garage (where they explain various things about motorcycle maintenance) and they really do know what they're talking about. Professional level content here.
CaptainDisillusion: He's a VFX wizard that debunks all kinds of videos that went viral and are presented as being real. He shows what errors were made that gives away the fact it's VFX and shows you how it's done. Usually he recreates his own version of the video as well.
SmarterEveryDay: Should be well known by most people. Destin, the guy who runs this channel, just explores and explains many engineering related subjects, mostly fueled by his endless passion and curiosity for engineering. Gotta get smart somehow, huh?
VSauce: Hey, VSauce, Michael here!
Scott Manley: Guy that knows an insane amount about rockets, space and physics. He plays a shitload of Kerbal Space Program and does all kinds of interesting stuff with it. He also uses the game to explain real life physics and rocketry concepts.
Trolden: Gotta love his Hearthstone videos.

Copy/paste from the sidebar list down the left (from 'SUBCRIPTIONS' downwards), then delete the numbers where lines have 'new videos' against them. Takes a few seconds.

Nah I dunno, he bought a new plot of land so he's documenting his new settlement, there'll be some more kiln fired brick houses but then hopefully he'll start iron age forging properly.

Slowmo Guys has to be a top fave but they're getting too worked up with having 4k content rather than high fps content. I hated their Super Slow Show thing too, glad they're back in their backyard.

Hah, I also used to watch ChaseonTwoWheels and I still watch Motorcyclist Magazine. I'll have to check out 44teeth.

I mostly listen to music and watch dirtbike videos, usually from the CROSS TRAINING ENDURO SKILLS channel. He's an aussie that makes some pretty good dirtbike tutorial vids, very helpful stuff and I'll admit I've learned a fair bit from his videos. I also watch videos from Graham Jarvis, super awesome dirtbike rider, honestly, probably the best on the planet.

You guys should also check out First we feast's channel. Sean Evans has these interviews he does over hot wings and they're awesome, his channel is called Hot Ones.

Would be great if people could take some time to explain why a channel is recommended and what kind of content they serve. Just a list of names isn't all that appealing to read or check out. Hence my initial "lets-post-without-reading-other-peoples'-posts" comment.

If you like BigCliveDotCom you should checkout AvE like Whisky and Phants mentioned  - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChWv6P ... 6lgGt3MyfA

Colin Furze - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCp68_F ... n9QU6phsgw - he invents lots of crazy devices and nearly kills himself with most of them
The Great War - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUcyEs ... 69RRVhRh4A - I haven't watched many but it's worth a mention as the level of detail in the videos is amazing

Casually explained - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCr3cBL ... Y0F_OdFWFQ - his level of pesismism and sarcasm almost matches mine

Ozzy man reviews - https://www.youtube.com/user/ozzymanreviews - always worth a mention

To be fair, the thread title is "Your favorite Youtube channels". Not your favorite Youtube channels and why or your recommended Youtube channels. So I can only assume that everyone is simply sharing what they watch. These are not recommendations. If any one of these channel names interest you, you could always type them into Youtube to take a look.

I subscribe to shit when I'm drunk and end up not keeping up with most.

Funhaus, RedLetterMedia, and FirstWeFeast are the only ones where we've gone through the whole list.

I do worry that Mike will legit top himself some day. He seems pretty deep in the depths of alcoholism and depression. Channel itself is jokes tho.

Oh, I don't watch every single new video that shows up in my subscription feed. I scroll through and add shit to my Watch Later list if it seems interesting. Plus a lot of the channels I sub to will only put out one short video each month or every other week. Also I don't watch TV anymore, or even Netflix for that matter.

Id recommend watching FortNine too. Ryan, the guy that presents the videos, has a bit of a bias towards off-road bikes. No supersport over there. I can really recommend these videos, even to non-riders:

Honda Africa Twin review:

KTM 1290 Super Adventure R review:

And, IMO the best one in terms of style and presentation, his Yamaha SCR950 review:

I believe I've seen some of those vids pop up on my feed but I never check em out as I'm not keen on adventure bikes. At least not yet.

I have however been watching 44teeth. Specifically the bike on a budget challenge with the ninja and the suzuki 750 (I think). I sorta like it, but I feel like they could have better production quality in a lot of instances. I recently bought a Go pro Hero 5 but I haven't been making good use of it. I need to get some good editing software and probably a bunch more crap to make half decent videos.

Not a fan of adv bikes myself either, but the way those reviews are made makes it a joy to watch IMO.

44teeth isn't about production quality or big budgets. It's a bit boys-and-their-toys. I think these lads are great characters and really enjoy watching them.
