Look at MKJ trying to be funny. Today's ride saw 4 states and 789.7 miles.

Really I am a little jealous :( I'd love to do a ride like that, weather permitting.

You'd guess by now maybe I do love driving and I think nothing of getting in my wheels at anytime after provisioning up with little planning and set off for a day or three. I just find it relaxing and yes, call it escapism perhaps :p

Here we go, here’s a real trip. None of that 2000 miles on a motorcycle redneck bullshit.

How’s Singapore, Donny? What you there for?

Just over 12 hours. Had to stop for fuel more frequently than I originally thought. The hills of north Florida and southern Mississippi really played havoc on my fuel economy.

Ok, it's a real trip because it's more in line with what you would like to do? And how does riding a motorcycle equate to being a redneck?

Well yeah, it actually is more in line with me. But really it has more to do with Gramps being a dull piece of shit...

Its not my first time so its as expected; clean, hot and expensive :D

Its a brilliant place; lots to see and do. Diwali is next Tuesday so I will try and get some pictures. Off to Universal for some rides tomorrow then might be hitting up Atlas bar in the evening.

Other things planned include gardens by the bay, drinks at the Skypark (on top of the Marina Bay Sands), a trip to Raffles, China Town and Little India...a few other bits and bobs too.

I cut my trip short due to poor weather forecasts for the south eastern united states. Forecasts call for rain Wednesday, all day Thursday and all day Friday. Not wanting to get caught in the cold rain, I decided to ride straight home from Nashville today. I made it 800 miles in just under 12 hours.

Total miles for the last 4 days across 7 states.

The mountains in Tennessee were a fun ride. Nothing like the open road.

Well, you definitely called that one. The Dominican is where all the slack jawed snoozers go for a cheap all inclusive. Have fun :olo:

Go on a real trip ffs...

Edit:

Here ya go, Dominican at the top of the list for cheapest all-inclusives. Good choice Gramps...

Speaking of trips, the wife and I are trying to decide where to go in the Spring. Since we hit Borneo last go round, we’re thinking maybe Europe. I’m wanting Iceland, but it’s still up in the air...

Gonna try to get up to Seattle in a few weeks to hit Olympic and Mt. Rainier National Parks...

Some shots from the trip.

New Orleans, Bourbon Street

There are hundreds of miles of elevated roads in this part of Louisiana.

Me and a Mississippi cotton field.

Cotton anyone?

Nashville, Broadway Street.

Daily totals.

In August my son and I went on a 6 day trip to Philly, NYC, Atlantic City and Baltimore via plane and multiple Amtrak, and stayed at the Bellevue by Hyatt in down town Philly.

I just got back from a planned 8 day ride through 9 states, cut short to 4 days and 7 states due to rain.

In December the wife and I will be going to the Dominican for 5 days where we'll be staying at the 4.5/5 star Hard Rock resort.

I'm not "rich". But I'm doing okay.

Someone quote my Dominican post so Gramps can see it. Ignoring posts is so fucking stupid. No greater evidence of being gotten to...

Do you have a specific time in the video you're referring to? Maybe I'm adjusting the camera, avoiding pot holes/man holes/road debris, being pushed by wind off the mountains/tractor trailers or just having fun.

edit: Since you mentioned it, I paid particular attention on today's rides. I noticed a couple of things. Whenever I drop one hand from the handle bars I tend to lean a bit in that direction. This causes the bike to veer slightly the same way. I also think my aftermarket wind screen is responsible for gradually pushing my motorcycle to the left at speed. I never really noticed this until today. I just made the minor adjustment while riding.
