Great episode, but feels like the beginning of the end for a lot of characters :paranoid:

Wonder how the Jonny Dragonboy bombshell will play out as the Night King is marching in...

We're on the 8th and final season, Whiskey. You have a lot of catching up to do. :smirk:

The look the dragon gave Snow when he was making out with Dany was funny.

That scene was corny as hell. “Keep your Queen warm...”

Other than that, good episode. Bran never moved the whole episode, waiting out there for Jamie. Creepy emo kid :olo:

So everyone knows only Targaryens can ride dragons, but it didn't seem to click for anyone, even Daenerys.

And is it just me or did Jon not seem distressed that he's been boning his own aunt this whole time? :olo:

The dialogue was a little forced, yes.

Emilia Clarke's acting has got fucking worse as times goes on. The dragon sequence was :dork:

That aside, excellent stuff. Wonder if Bran will lose his cool guy persona and push Jamie out of a window.

Bran will be super cool and not care...other people might, though. There will be some anger...

Everyone will want to string him up, but Bran will say something along the lines “No, Jamie still has a role to play in this fight. We need him...”

Jon will kick the Blonde wannabe bitch to the curb and take control of her dragons... It's obvious...

Right? The line of they eat whatever they want was pretty lame as well, just felt like forced fan service... Without boobs at that.

I've never watched a second of this show. But I heard today it's 2 to 1 odds that John Snow takes the Thrown.

Good dialogue heavy episode.

The Arya sex scene just felt strange. Maybe because we’ve watched her grow up as a small child.

It almost feels like there’s too many characters now (I’m sure that will change soon). The show just isn’t long enough to give everyone proper screen time and character wrap up...

The pacing was fine, it was just giving us one last go with all the people who are gonna get torn to bits in the next episode.

Any bets on who dies/survives the next episode?

Bienne probably dies. One of the Starks will die. Edd will die. Ghost will die (and become a walker). I think Sam is done. Theon is a goner. Beric probably. On the fence on Pod...

Now that Brienne has been knighted, either she's going to die or Jaime will. Maybe Jaime saves Brienne from certain death, or the other way around.

I hope Tormund doesn't cop it, he needs his own spin-off series.

Agreed on the creepiness of the Arya scene. ....I wonder if he knocked her up. Future king in the north? :!:

Apparently, episode 3 will be a 90 minute epic battle...

That battle was a bit weak sauce. Nobody significant died. Arya was pretty cool, though.

The whole episode was kinda meh, they teased so many big character deaths during the battle but they'd miraculously survive right at the last second every time to the point where I wasn't even worried anymore. I'm just glad Tormund and the dragons are still alive...and Grey Worm.

Correct. The fight was massive...Helms Deep on ice steroids.

This was to lure you into a false sense of security...don't forget the other fight happens next, with massively depleted resources. Deaths will occur quickly, from now on. Also pretty sure a second dragon will die soon enough; they have been teasing the giant arrow weapon since last season and it's still in the opening credits....

Oh wow, no not even close dude :|

The sudden shift from World War Z to Walking Dead was so jarring and characters were all over the place with very little cohesion. And there's no false sense of security now that it's obvious the next battle will be even deadlier for the main characters. The Night King's death was the definition of anticlimactic.
