I would come if I could, but having a fulltime job and 3 kids means it's not easy to head off just like that.

Maybe not, but the European Community Lead has provided his details for a chin wag. It'll likely come to nothing, but it's at least an acknowledgement of my request :)

There and back again...on the Saturday most probably.

Unsure if I should drive to Reading then train in from there due to track closures from Bristol to Newport and therefore a bus replacement...or just bus then train so I could have a pint if I wanted one.

It was a good little show to be fair; DOOM Eternal is just as mental as the other other one, only with more stuff you can do, character wise.

They had a cool set up where they had DOOM (original) on loads of different platforms, so N64, PS1, Atari Jaguar etc. It was very cool seeing them all lined up next to each other.

Also Phant is more of a dude than you could ever imagine

Yeah you pricks missed out on some steamy HMS and some fine welsh0 beer.

High point was the new Doom looks to be good. Another belter of a sound track. I tried VR for the first time too. Really fun stuff...The low point was being reminded by Donny how bad I am at FPS by getting trashed 1v1. GGs :D

Sounds like you had a great time.
I wish I could've been there, really, but with real life... kids, family, job, it's just not that easy to just jump on a plane and go to England.

WTF is wrong with Americans? Guys who call football soccer? Who eat sweet bread with something that smells like meat (but does not taste like meat at all)? Who need user guides to use simple everyday objects? You dare to call Europeans weird?

Iwas surprised there's what looks to be a 10-year-old in the crowd. Great parenting.

I am no parent (yet), and of course I'll show my future kids what we played in our childhood :) That bread I was reffering to was "burger" you bloke.

No other nation can actually invent something like sweet bread (and not bread like loaf of bread, it's actually more roll-like bread, a small roll-like bread - I don't know how you call these things, we call them "houska") with a meat inside (or something that tries to look like, smell like and taste like a meat, I doubt that it's a meat at all). No other nation can sue companies for not telling warnings for idiots that a cat doesn't belong to microwave oven AND WIN! You Americans are truly only nation that needs quite extensive user guide for simple everyday objects, like microwaves or something, with quite extensive list of things you shall and shall not do with that product (while that list takes up 50 % of the user guide actually). Like do you really need a warning like an oven can burn you? Even young kids know that! Or, at least young kids in Europe...

CZghost doesn't understand that suing one another is America's #3 favourite pastime, right after school shootings and baseball
