I think it's cool. And gwamps' bike might be interesting if it wasn't so ugly and slow, and if gwamps himself wasn't such an easily-triggered snowflake :olo:

It's interesting, but it's a slow build and it's hard to see how it's taking shape at this stage. Might be a bit more interesting once you start working on the indoor water-park.

Not sure about the water park comment.

But the build isn’t really slow. Typical house build takes about 6-8 months. We should be in that range...

What I mean is that because building a house takes months, you probably won't be posting updates on a frequent basis, so it's not like people will be checking this thread on a normal basis. It's like planting a garden is pretty interesting, but at the same time you don't want to literally sit there and watch the plants grow.

No indoor water-park? Missed opportunity, right there.

You’re right, it’s not huge. 3,400 sq feet including the basement. I know some people don’t include the basement in the square footage, but it’ll be a completed space. Livable space...

It’ll feel larger cause I don’t have 30 illegitimate children like some people (Geoff)...

I gotcha. Maybe I’ll post some more pics as they get more done. Right now it’s just framing. Not much to see...

Doesn’t Gramps have to board up his home and leave it behind every year during hurricane season?

Shared this on Discord, might as well post it here.

The damn windows won’t be arriving for several more weeks. Major bummer there. That’ll really slow progress. But the roof can go on and they get HVAC installed and electrical can get started...

That pad site looks great and the construction looks to be coming along well. Nice choice on the window brand.
