Don't think it's just the Danes. There's mink farms all over the world. Over here in The Netherlands it's been a hot topic as well.

Our government had, before corona came along, said that all mink farms were forced to close in 2024 because by then the practice would be outlawed. It was found that here as well, mink farms were hotbeds of corona infections and the government decided to reschedule forced closure to March 2021. This is a step in the right direction, but as it looks right now, letting all that stuff fester and spread for another 5 months seems like a bad idea.

So far 2.5 million minks spread across 69 mink farms in the Netherlands have been gassed because of corona infections. In Danmark, that number is somewhere around 15 to 17 million minks. It's like a furry holocaust.

Poultry farms are way worse. In the egg-laying production lines, females are kept and males are literally tossed into a grinder alive because they cost farmers money to keep on the farm. A single person can mulch 1000 chicks an hour, and the UK alone employs about 100-150 chicken sexers.

Do not expect enough serums for a worldwide immunity until the end of 2021.
The development of that vaccine really has been paid for by Germany through BionTech.
Pfizer is just the risk-taker and in the end a licenser and manufacturer/marketer.
