hi
I just joined the Quake3 online world. Is there a list of servers I would be welcome at to join? I don't want to crash somebody's office party or anything.
Can somebody suggest some good servers to check out?

do like i do .. try a bunch of servers till you find one with good regulars and try and be a regular yourself.
after awhile that server will be your home.
i only play on servers where i know most of the players and can have some fun with them .. not just fun playing but fun
freindly verbal jousting.

Try using All-Seeing Eye game server browser. It contains a multitude of features not available in the in-game browser. Find a couple of servers that you ping reasonably well and that are populated with players. You are free to join any public server you choose, however be mindful in team games, where you may make the teams uneven by joining. In that case, go to spectator and wait for another player to join.
You are a guest of the server, and should act accordingly. Spamming, flaming, trash talk and general obnoxious behavior will lead to being kicked and possibly banned by the admin. Have Fun, and remember that the entire reasons that the servers are here is for the enjoyment of the community.
