The Devil's Rejects. The best horror movie of 2005 imo.
Apparently the forum resident fountain of tears Nightshade resigned from his prestigious role as rants and raves moderator because he wouldn't have time to moderate or post anymore due to devoting himself to his 'old man at university' studies.
As much as he tried, yet again he wasn't able to stay away. Sorry that didn't work out for you Nightshade. :olo:
Avarage acting + avarage story. It had three Oscar nominations, which reminded me once again that the Oscars are fucking bullshit. The sad thing was the movie actually had the potential to be really good had they chosen a different approach. Imo, of course.

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou 9-10
Most excellent attempt to make a movie like a dream... wildly trippy nonsense the whole movie long. Quality stuff.
I actually haven't thought about it like that. I agree that it was pretty trippy, but I didn't get the impression that it was supposed to be a dream. Perhaps more like what the world looks like through his eyes.
I've only seen it once though, in the cinema. I need to see it again.
The Man Who Wasn't There: 8/10. A wonderfully sedate and reflective buildup of disquiet in the world of an everyman. Thorton and Shalhoub are fanfuckingtastic.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say "the cold".
You probably don't experience "the cold" wabbit but it is a thermal effect humans feel when they do not have 17 extra layers of flesh.
Sure. Sitting "inside" where people usually turn on "the heat" with huge silky gloves on is a good way to keep your hands warm. I guess the lower half of his face was really cold too. LOLOLOL
