V for Vendetta - 7/10
I really liked how "British" they had managed to make it feel. And the casting of John Hurt as the dictator was pure genious (hint: 1984). Oh, and fucking lol at the Yakety Sax gag.
It balanced on the edge of sentimentality a couple of times, but thankfully never delved to deeply into it. I wish I had read the comic before though, I would have liked to have some sort of reference to what was part of the comic and what was added by the Wachowski brothers.
EDIT: changed the score to 7/10, it's not a 8

V for Vendettea - 8/10
I liked it more for the ideas and the premise rather than for the fantastic acting or anything like that. Tho that said Hugo Weaving was fantastic! Articulate and very Bristish while seeming odd...very powerfull and a real presence on screan.
Infact the more i think about it the more i loved this film...oh the dialog is fantastic throughout....

Ultraviolet 2/10
I usually like cheesy action movies but this has to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The acting and plot were painful to watch and the only reason that it even gets a 2 is that the T&A were decent. Don't waste your money or even your bandwidth on this one, IMO its not worth either.

not to sound arrogant, but why did you even go to see that anyway? There are enough resources online that should've warned you away from such trash. Why not spend your precious time watching a good movie?Tormentius wrote:Ultraviolet 2/10

You're right, I won't watch another movie until Snakes on a Plane comes out.[xeno]Julios wrote:not to sound arrogant, but why did you even go to see that anyway? Trivia: Samuel L. Jackson only signed on for this film because the title was "Snakes on a Plane". When the film makers tried to change it to "Flight 121", Jackson was adamant to keep it "Snakes on a Plane".

I went with my brother and usually like cheesy action flicks (as said in the above post). In most cases even bad action flicks are entertaining but this one was downright pathetic.[xeno]Julios wrote:
