monitor turns off and on again when i delete things...? WTF?

Yeah REALLY odd. If i delete a movie file from my desktop, my PC monitor turns off and back on again...? Only with those files tough, nothing else...? I dunno if its worth listing tbh but im using the latest nvidia drivers on a gf6800 GT...?

Do the nvidia drivers have an option for video acceleration like the ati ones do? You can try disabling/enabling that and see if it helps

Hmmm... turning video accel all the way down results in the screen not going off or anything, instead when i delete the video files i get "cannot creat nvidia control panel cannont be created"... How fucking odd...

Well:

1]Did this start to happen with a new driver set only (when you recently upgraded)?

2]Did you fuck with the drivers in any way?

Try drivercleaner to get rid of all traces of the driver and re-install. http://www.drivercleaner.net/

If that dosen't help you can try downgrading a driver set or two and see if it goes away, if so then it could be some kinda bug that affects some type of hardware in your pc/etc.
