my last tv was a samsoung ey :paranoid;
The picture is just crisper and more vibrant on the Samsung.
A friend has a Bravia and it is a really let down, so much so he actually got some dude from the Sony store to check it was set up correctly and there were no issues with it.
Just viewing it you can see it is not up to scratch.
Yeah, 1080p gaming on the 40" bravia really looks piss poor. Hardly any detail, and jaggies everywhere. Although truth be told thats with the PS3 on one and that lacks AA, but still, it didn't look that impressive.
The 40" Samsung's look great however in 1080p. My mates a tight fisted lucky shit bag who happens to have BOTH models at 40", and the sammy is the one he uses for his gaming. 360 gaming in 1080p and even 720p looks a damn sight better than 1080p on the Sony.
I would go with the Sammy.
Cant believe how cheap these are now they have dropped a hell of a lot.
don't smaller lcd's actually have sharper screen than the bigger ones? I mean they are still pimping the same amount of pixels as the big boys, if , it's the right size for the room, it will own ...no need to downgrade to a monster.
