The demo was so-so. Its a cool game, effects were awesome, but the scale was way off (Seriously, look at that door on the inside of the petrol station, its double the height of the marines, reminds me of the Quake 2 days), and the weapons did hardly any damage.
I'll end up getting it because I did enjoy it, but it could do with a few tweaks.

I'll have to replay and see what you mean about the scale. I know that here in Amerikka we like stuff big. Weapons were a bit weak but only against the mechanoids.o'dium wrote:The demo was so-so. Nah, there wasn't that many spots in there. You know where the marines blow that door up, then they move into a room? Well, the dor in there that you go through (that triggers the scene with the alien), that one. Its HUGE, the door handle is where the marines heads are, very funny. Honestly with that demo I think it's way to early to form an opinion on the game... I hope they release a better demo as they progress with the game. I like the effects, and I kind of like how little damage the weapons do. No more 7-shot kills with a fully automatic weapon. Seems more difficult, I kinda like that.
