how can i save a config so i dont have to type in all the variables all the time?

Juste create a autoexec.cfg with notepad and copy all youre personnal setting in it. Put the autoexec.cfg file into baseq3 folder...

another alternative is to type "writeconfig name.cfg" in the console, and it'll dump all the settings into that file

then just type "exec name.cfg" to load it.
